MASS
Project Deep-Dive // 002
"Density is an argument."
Structure is truth. The monolithic aspect of the building serves as a testament to the brutal realities of urban density. By utilizing raw concrete and exposed steel, MASS strips away the veneer of modernity to reveal the underlying framework of the city.
The project stands not just as a visual statement, but as a visceral experience of weight and gravity. Each slab, each beam is meticulously calculated to convey a sense of permanence and immutability in an otherwise transient metropolis.
The interplay of light and shadow across the textured surfaces further accentuates the solidity of the form, creating a dynamic environment that shifts with the passing of the day. MASS is an argument for the essential, a rejection of the superfluous.
