Tectonic Shift
Material Tension Study
Gravity is the primary architect.
Located at the lowest point on Earth, Tectonic Shift is a pavilion designed to be consumed by its environment.

The structure is composed of basalt blocks that were submerged in the Dead Sea for 18 months prior to assembly. As the water evaporated, it left a thick, crystalline crust of salt that acts as a natural protective layer and a shifting aesthetic skin.
